The annual festival, Push Nation Fest is not just any event - it’s a celebration of surviving SCI; allowing people to push the boundaries of what it means to live with paralysis. The event is designed to bring people from the paralysis community together (along with the numerous exhibitors!), creating the perfect atmosphere to push and encourage one another in a safe environment.
The newest technology, entertainment, activities and hands-on workshops make an inspiring combination, and one quite unlike you’ll have seen before. This celebration of people demonstrates not only the strength of this community, but encouragement for the future as well.
There are a team of four core members who make it happen, and commit their careers to making sure #pushnationfest it remains the success it’s become! Dana Guest is the leader of the pack, and the real inspiration behind the entire event! Emily Ghosh, the visionary, has helped to bring it all together, and Dale Swope (otherwise known as the glue!) keeps everything running smoothly. Last, but by no means least, is the coordinator- the one who makes things happen and makes them great- Stacy Demarse.
You can find #pushnationfest at Tampa Convention Center, FL on Friday, April 22nd from 2pm-8pm and Saturday, April 23 from 10am-5pm.
Earlybird tickets for the event are totally free, and to buy them on the day is just $5. To purchase them online, you can visit their website here. So what are you waiting for?!
