– Sam Schmidt
In December 2018, Sam Schmidt and CPN Executive Director, Brandi Kurka, held the grand opening for DRIVEN NeuroRecovery Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. DRIVEN is a multidisciplinary accessible fitness and wellness center where individuals with disabilities can improve their physical, mental and emotional health; increase independence; and enhance their overall quality of life using a holistic approach to wellness. They provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to pursue a healthy, active lifestyle; with the goal to provide an equitable fitness environment for those with limited mobility. While offering a variety of new opportunities, DRIVEN also coordinates with existing programs in the region that cater to the needs of individuals with all disabilities. Thanks to the efforts of Conquer Paralysis Now, no individual is declined services due to lack of financial resources.
