Activity Based Therapy Center

About REACT Neuro-Rehab

"REACT exists to maximize your recovery potential.  We don't see limitations, we see possibilities.  Results are everywhere.  Will there be bad days? Yes - that's life.  But those bad days fade as soon as you enter our door.  Let us take you from where you are to where you want to be! We are a multi-disciplinary neurological recovery center offering programs specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of people living with neurological disabilities.

Program Options:

Neuro-Restorative Program

This is our elite one-on-one training program offering customized training prescriptions. The focus is on restoring motor function, building strength and enhancing overall independence. A two-hour neurological evaluation helps identify motor and sensory deficits, which is then combined with our Developmental Activity Scale evaluation to create a baseline.

Phoenix Initiative

This is our clinical neuroscience program aimed to enhance quality of life and overall physical function for people living with brain health conditions like dizziness, balance and movement disorders, concussion, mild TBI, to name a few.  Intensity matters when trying to create durable pathways for neural adaptation, thus this program is designed to vigorously harness the power of neuroplasticity for therapeutic outcomes.

Physical Therapy: Neuro or Vestibular Rehab

Our Neurological and Vestibular Rehab physical therapy programs are lead by Dr. Garcia. She will perform a comprehensive evaluation to assess impairments/limitations in mobility, strength, and/or balance. Pain and spasticity are examined as well. Together, Dr. Garcia and the patient will create goals to restore function and independence. Treatment and care are one-on-one.

Warrior Initiative (Group Training)

REACT launched the Warrior Initiative to improve recovery outcomes for those who have served our country, here at home and overseas. Using the talents and training protocols that are our cornerstone, the Warrior Initiative is a comprehensive approach to treating veterans that includes a team of doctors, therapist and strength coaches who are knowledgeable about the unique needs and concerns in serving this community. Our program examines biochemical markers, environmental/lifestyle factors and unique neurological conditions to customize a treatment plan that delivers. We also provide access to a realm of natural analgesic modalities and a relaxation room that can be scheduled outside of therapy, at no additional cost, during the course of treatment. For veterans with persistent psychological conditions, our mental health counseling partners are available to meet and address potential counseling needs.

Legacy Project (Group Training)

The Legacy Project is a unique group training program for adaptive athletes. The idea was conceptualized by our Director Ryan Bachik. He brought on specialists Matt Mitchell and Jen Brigham to help give life to the program and ensure that REACT quality training standards are met while delivering a high-intensity group dynamic. The Legacy Project is internally funded through our passionate donors and thus has no cost to the participants.

iCARE Gait Training System

This training regimen is ideal for individuals craving that feeling of being back in the gym, with the crucial task-specific repetition necessary for nervous system training (neuroplasticity). This body-weight suspension elliptical is great when added to our Neuro-Restorative Training Program or as a stand alone training method.

ReWalk Robotic Exoskeleton

The ReWalk offers clients gait training in a wearable exoskeleton with motors at the hip and knee joints.  This program is great for individual's looking for that upright walking experience, allowing the individual to work on walking speed and distance, fluidity, balance and coordination.  The battery powered bionic legs move in response to the user's subtle changes in his/her center of gravity.  A forward tilt initiates the first step and repeated body shifting generates a sequence of steps."
